Spot the odd one out? This is what happens when TG gets asked to turn up and lend a hand at the UK’s busiest airport

I've lost a Jumbo Jet in my blind spot. About 350 tonnes of roaring aeroplane has disappeared somewhere over my right shoulder, leaving nothing but a wing tip in the corner of my eye. I've occasionally lost scooters back there. The odd hatchback has gone missing. But a fully fuelled 747, travelling at 160mph down the middle of the runway at Britain's biggest airport? You might think this sounds impossible. But when you're driving around one of the world's busiest airfields full of buses, tugs and catering lorries, one of the hardest things to see is, in fact, an aeroplane.

Lots of drifting occurred. Some tyre smoke happened. There was a bit of spinning. And a camera drone decided to take on the Stig.
Just another day for Top Gear magazine, then. Except this day was a bit special, because as you'll know, in this month's issue we've mixed up a fantasy fleet of the world's finest cars, mixed it with Europe's scariest circuit and added a healthy dollop of Stig.

Of course, despite the spinning, and Stig's battle with the camera drone, we did actually manage to do some proper testing. It wasn't an an empirical, objective test judged by stopwatches and the like. Because only in Top Gear magazine will you find an £18k Ford Fiesta ST stacked up against a £294,665 Lamborghini Aventador Roadster.
Count em': we've got the BMW M135i, the Ford Fiesta ST, Audi RS6, Maserati GranTurismo, McLaren 12C Spider, Jaguar F-Type, Porsche Cayman, Mercedes A45 AMG, Mini GP, Lamborghini Aventador, Mercedes SLS Black, the Renault Twin'Run concept, and, erm, our 130mph Honda lawnmower.
